#AskPeshev 95: When Are Meetings Necessary?

“Not all meetings are good or bad. But, setting up any meeting requires critical thinking.”

— Mario Peshev

Earlier this year, I wrote an article about how you must avoid meetings in general and how you can work around them. But like with most aspects of business management, there is a thin line and some considerations have to be made. This is why under my weekly guide, I have published a follow-up article concerning meetings.  Check out this post along with snippets of my insights on content marketing and employee management.  Get more access to my business and management tips by joining an exclusive Slack community I’m planning to set up for business leaders and owners. Let me know if you want to join by hitting “Reply” or checking out my poll at https://mariopeshev.com/ 🚀  Mario

Business Meetings

Most business meetings "should" have been an email. If the company is large and has more stakeholders, then the slower and heavier the processes become. This eventually leads to more meetings with less work being done.

It's All About Reading...

Content marketing is one of the most effective methods of gaining exposure for a brand and bringing potential customers into the sales funnel. By integrating strategic distribution, search engine optimization and inbound tactics as part of this approach, most businesses see excellent returns on their investments in content marketing.

Sometimes an employee just doesn’t work out within an organization and needs to be let go. Firing an employee is a task that needs to be handled with delicacy and care, and the process can be intimidating for someone who has never been responsible for terminating an employee before.

Staying relevant and collaborative in a distributed environment requires a good effort from both the remote employees and the company. As a remote worker, trying to “hang out with the cool kids” may not be possible if the majority of the brainstorming happens around the water cooler without being documented in a project management system or a collaboration tool.
