What’s your most favorite communication channel?Mine is email (followed by Twitter). Email is resilient and persistent, around for ages, accessible everywhere, available at all times, robust and flexible, free for use (mostly), easy to maintain across multiple “accounts” (business/personal). It integrates well with different services (through forwarders and things like Zaiper or IFTTT). But unless you spend a while on making email work, it will haunt you forever.I’ve gathered ten of my top email tips in my weekly post (linked below) and I’m always open to new paradigms worth testing from a productivity standpoint.In the meantime, make sure you check out my tips for Recruiter and my video on diversification during a pandemic.P.S. Email is still the go-to communication protocol that I prefer over everything else. Meetings and calls are necessary every now and then, but communicating with vendors, partners, peers, PR, and media editors is a lot easier asynchronously, plus the added benefit of managing notifications or work reports within the email inbox.
