When you first start your business, the most time-consuming activity for a good chunk of time is “sales, sales, sales”. Generating revenue while lacking any brand recognition, SEO, budget for ads or sponsored booths at events is massively hard. And if you persevere, you end up with a decent stream of leads or recurring revenue that keeps you afloat in the long run. Hiring becomes the next top priority.The hiring process is complicated (and I’ve authored multiple guides on the matter), but you have to consider other tangible focus points to keep your talent on board.
