“Quora acts as a virtual roundup table. It’s a great way to validate your ideas and receive constructive feedback every now and then. ”

“Hey, I don’t touch base often, but I truly appreciate your content efforts in the WordPress space. They shed a lot of light for the external ecosystem which is truly needed.”I received this LinkedIn message in 2012 from someone I vaguely know who sold his primary business for $25 million. This was the first time I realized that my readers are silent actors; executives are busy (and keep a low profile online) but that doesn’t mean they won’t consume content on a regular basis. It’s a different game than working with freelancers or direct consumers, folks who actively engage online and respond to every tweet or inspirational story.Consistent and authentic content has been paramount for building my brand over the years. Content adds up over time and once you generate a critical mass, it gets easier when you continuously upgrade copy and fill in the missing pieces on a regular basis. This is why I discuss content techniques and using networks like Quora in this weekly edition - let me know what channels work best for you.Mario

How do you become successful in B2B sales?
Isn't it strange that most of our most creative and innovative ideas come up in odd places, like under the shower where there is no piece of paper and a pencil to write them down?Or, how many times did you wake up with a fresh idea in mind and a few minutes later, you've simply forgotten it? Such is key to have the ability to generate ideas on purpose. And as any other skill out there, it can be trained and developed through certain best practices.
First off, you have to establish the right mindset within your team (an executives' mindset). Salespersons must be seen more as strategic business partners, and not just as employees.Often, these salespersons are the ones responsible for keeping the cash flow going and having a tactical role in maintaining the safety buffer.
