“The further you dive into the core problems of your business, the easier it is to generate evergreen content ideas.”

I had to replace my solid-state drive and flush everything I’ve been compiling on my drive over the past few years.(Don’t worry, I do backups plus most of my work is in the cloud - Drive, Dropbox, GitHub, my email and the like.)Throughout the setup process, I relied heavily on notes since 2013 and old config blog posts + bookmarks that are just as valid in 2020. This is how my complex setup took 4 hours and not 2+ days (which would otherwise be required).I treat most of my content the same way: evergreen is the name of the game. The very first time I launched a blog, I used it as a documentation repository for problems I had faced at work (that I could refer back to). With my current blog that started in 2018, I frequently link to existing blog posts and guides I’ve been compiling and extending over time. And I’m really grateful for my team that’s super helpful in compiling bits and pieces over the net I’ve authored for nearly 2 decades, helping me organize and publish as a result. This is why the topics of the day are evergreen content and building a solid team. Make sure you prioritize both if you’re in the same boat as me :)

It's All About Reading...
As a consumer (or a prospect), I don’t respond to sales calls well.Intrusive advertisement is a lot less effective than educational content, answering questions to problems I’m realistically struggling with, and leading me through a journey I find easier to pass through than doing all of the due diligence myself. This is why I’d rather educate and inform and let customers make their own minds...
Does it still matter what letter do business names start with? Back in the day, the yellow pages were a strategic source for generating prospects for a business. However, this was a common hack 30–40 years ago and most businesses no longer rely on this traffic source. Nowadays, you’ll likely find leads via: Social media...read more…
Every boss dreams of the perfect team, but since there isn’t such a thing, settle for the next best — a team you’ve created and carefully trained.Hiring the best people does not necessarily equate to creating the best team. Like cogs in a well-oiled machine, you don’t need to find the perfect employees, just the ones that can fit in perfectly into your team. More importantly, after hiring the ones you wanted, you got to have the ability to keep them.
While money is a common motivator that larger businesses use to keep employees motivated, they may still lack motivation at work no matter the size of their paycheck. The truth is - there are other key areas that drive motivation. However, maintaining a balance is expensive, really expensive.Because of that, check out these three more alternative ways of ensuring my employees' motivation
Most smaller companies and startups are heavily relying on the "chance of success", but hoping for the best while the competition isn't the best strategy to bet on.Running organized experiments is what will ensure, or at least increases your chances, keeping up with the market's innovations.
